Finalists at the men’s edition of “Who’s on next?” held in June 2011, Antonio Romano and Francesco Alagna, have successfully persevered with their independent brand, Comeforbreakfast, created in 2009.  A cutting edge project, which is minimal in appearance only, that is sophisticated and attentive to both image and quality.  Whilst Romano, a graduate of Polimoda Florence, is the duo’s creative soul, Alagna has a degree in industrial design and a master’s degree in Fashion Buying from the Marangoni Milan, and has been responsible for developing the business and marketing skills that have helped the brand to grow.  In recent seasons, this brand – which has a men’s and women’s collection – has been characterized by unconventional knitwear, prints that immediately win over the fashion addicts, and jackets and coats that combine design with wearability.  Antonio and Francesco give us some teasers about their current production.

 
Can you briefly describe your S/S 2013 collection.
Urban scenes and settings for a collection that has constantly evolved over recent seasons.  A journey through the urban culture of the city, with prints inspired by and directly taken from the images that crowd our everyday imagination.
 
What are the must-have items in the collection??
Definitely the silk unisex trench-coat.
 
In one word, what will the F/W 2013-14 season be like?
Mature.
 
Any special memories linked to Pitti?
It was very important for us to meet the competition jury.  The most emotional and wonderful moment that we remember with pleasure is when we displayed and explained our collection to them.
