Born in Trieste in 1985, he studied fashion design at Polimoda in Florence and at the Royal Academy in Antwerp. It was here in this Belgian city that Andrea received the MoMu Award from the Museum of Fashion for the originality of his creations. In 2008 he debuted at the visionary style court of Walter Van Beirendonck. Cammarosano then moved to San Francisco, where he taught at the Academy of Arts University and this was when he started to create his first menswear collections, experimenting a concept dimension that saw clothes conceived as artwork. Prints, bright colours, historical and ethnic references all contrast with techno elements. His unexpected, shifting shapes prefer freedom of expression to coded style languages, for garments that combine all the Italian craftsmanship and quality with the intellectualness of Belgian fashion and open-minded American spirit.
