Pitti Italics Casamadre: Pitti Italics @Pitti uomo 88

Traditions, roots and research are the leitmotifs of the brand established in 2011 by two young Italian designers, Alessia Crea and David Parisi. Casa & Madre – house and mother – two words, two reference points and a single concept with a strong sense of belonging. Casamadre is a brand influenced by contaminations from art, travel and the people whom the two talents meet in their lives. Linearity and clean shapes are their signature marks, presented with a strong identity and a touch of irony, as they skillfully mix textures, materials, colors – and craft skills. The glam and gypsy contaminations give their shoes – for men and women – a unique “über accessorio”  appeal

The rendezvous is set in the morning of Wednesday, 17 June at the Dogana, Via Valfonda. Following their victory at Who Is On Next in 2013 and their presentation-event held in January 2014 as special guests of Pitti Uomo 83, the Casamadre duo is back in Florence for the debut of their first-ever clothing collection.
“Our SS 2016 runway show represents an arrival as well as the beginning of a new adventure.  And we are honored to be starting from Pitti Uomo where our journey began. This is our first complete collection: the idea of the Casamadre man and woman is finally taking shape.”, say David Parisi and Alessia Crea.  “We will tell a new story through contaminations that are rich in identity, dwelling on the concept of the moment before the beginning and on the possibilities”.
