10A is an experimental brand led stylistically by Matteo Cibic, a product designer and creative director, and Daria Dazzan, a fashion designer who, based upon a search for vintage clothing, reinterprets classic garments, reinventing them with the use of prints and design that is attentive to detail.
For the coming S/S 2013 season, they have produced their “total looks” which focus upon tailored solutions from the navy world but with a contemporary and sophisticated slant. The collection focuses heavily on trousers, as the true DNA of the brand. Soft, easy-fit garments, which drape like sails, stand alongside slim-cuts with extra-light gabardines made from sun-dried cotton.
The materials reflect the chaos of seasonal climate change. Selected in their lightest weights, there are elastic cottons with 3D effects, buttoned and baggy linens. Thin cool wool fabrics aim to imitate the material of the ropes and sails. This is a reference which also extends to the colour range: ice grey, navy blue, ivory white and iron grey with a hint of green. The collection’s must-haves include the 10A eyewear alongside the new 10A T-SHIRT collection with staggered two-colour stripes.
