Art and fashion talk Emiliano Rinaldi presents Grand Chalet

Contemporary classic, sporty yet chic: these are just some of the perfectly harmonious oxymorons in “Grand Chalet”, the latest collection by Emiliano Rinaldi, presented at the 85th edition of Pitti Uomo.
Set against the fifteenth-century frescoes in Palazzo Gondi, the Rinaldi man has an aristocratic soul, in pleasing contrast to details taken from the world of games and competition. Clothes that range from a sapphire blue palette, to greys and a ruby red, with clever use also made of materials which define worlds suspended between casual and formal. Hybrid taste that manages however to remain coherent. Asymmetric-cut jackets, lapels that liven up suits and low-slung trousers are the prevailing elements down a fabulous runway inside this Tuscan palazzo.
In evoking emotions from a prevalently sporty background mixed with a more cosmopolitan mood, Emiliano Rinaldi is inspired by his passion for the mountains, horses and polo in his very personal ideal gentleman.
